All ethically made products are investigated to ensure the makers are paid a living wage, the company makes a positive contribution to the making community, and that it acknowledges any indigenous designs and/or techniques.  Brands in this category may be on their way to Fair Trade accreditation, or are unable to access or afford the certification.  This category includes those garments made with Craftmark certification, denoting genuine Indian handicraft traditions, or locally made, hand crafted items.
